March 2008 An Inspector Calls
AN INSPECTOR CALLS by J. B. Priestley
J.B. Priestley's classic play is set in Brumley, a Northern industrial town, in the Spring of 1912. The Birling family has just finished dinner when the evening is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of a police inspector who is investigating the death of a young woman. His startling revelations not only shatter the very foundations of their lives, but challenge us all to examine our consciences.
The play was directed by Linda Hampson.
